During this project the design challenge was to create a pop-up cafe for Dutch tourists to be placed on Dutch market-squares.
The individual parts needed to be relatively cheap and easy to produce, while the whole required to be relatively quick to assemble and easy to transport.
I decided to use repeating elements that resemble typical Dutch canal houses, to both draw in the tourists and make it match the surrounding environment.
Another element that makes this design unique is the double- sided bar area, which allows the worker to serve clients more easily.
